Overview
Our client is a forward-thinking, international organisation with a base in the Durham area. We are delighted to be working with them to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner to work closely with the leadership team to deliver against its ambitious business plan. The role will be engaged on a fixed term basis for a period of 12 months. This role will work as part of the talented People Team to drive and deliver its proactive and value-focussed People agenda.
Job Description
Reporting to the HR Director, main responsibilities include:
- Acting as the strategic business partner to senior stakeholders across designated business areas to drive the implementation of the People strategy.
- Providing expert advice and guidance on all People-related matters.
- Leading on HR initiatives including Talent Management, Development and Engagement programmes.
- Providing advice on organisational design and workforce planning to support the growth and objectives of the Global business.
- Working in partnership with the wider People team and business to achieve organisational goals.
- Analysing HR metrics and management information and providing regular reports and insights to inform on commercial people plans.
- Acting as a change agent to develop leadership capability, manage internal communications and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Person Specification
Successful applicants will:
- Be a credible People Partner and be able to engage stakeholders across all levels including Director level.
- Have straightforward communication skills with an ability to win and influence people in a positive manner.
- Be an HR innovator.
- Have demonstrable change management experience.
- Be action-orientated and solution focussed.
- Have demonstrable experience of working within a commercial environment.
The role will be based in Durham office and offers flexible hybrid working between home and office. The role will be suitable for applicants who can commit to a 12 month fixed term contract and who are looking to add value working in a strategically focussed position within an innovative, creative and growing organisation.
