HR Advisor – 6 month contract

Overview
A vacancy has arisen for an established, international business with a base in the Teesside area. Our client is looking to appoint a HR Advisor on a fixed term basis for a period of 6 months. The role will work as part of a HR team and provide an effective HR advice and support service to managers and employees at all levels across the organisation. The role will also support the execution of a major HR systems implementation project across the business.
Job Description
Main responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive HR support in relation to the full employment lifecycle.
- Assisting the HR team to deliver a wide range of HR activities.
- Working with the HR Lead to deliver a variety of HR projects, mainly a new HR system implementation.
- Coaching and supporting line managers in all people management related activity including Absence Management; Disciplinary and Grievance issues; Performance Management; Terms & Conditions.
- Supporting with recruitment and selection activities.
- Managing and monitoring policies and procedures in accordance with legislation.
- Supporting the management and coordination of succession planning and talent management activities.
- Promoting and championing ED&I and Wellbeing initiatives.
- Providing general HR support to the HR Lead and wider business as required.
Person Specification
The role will be based from the Middlesborough Head Office and supports hybrid working with options to work from home.
The successful candidate will ideally have proven HR advisory experience gained from within a fast-paced and commercial HR department. Previous experience of supporting with HR systems projects will be highly advantageous.
