Overview
Our client is an international organisation and a market leader in their field. The company is entering a phase of positive transformation and change which has created a new opportunity for an experienced Organisational Development practitioner to join the Global HR team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the HR Director, this role will play a pivotal role in the development of key HR initiatives to enable the organisation to keep people capability and performance front and centre.
Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Work as part of the wider Global HR team to achieve HR and OD strategies in line with the business objectives.
- Examine, analyse, and report on specific team and people development needs with a focus on leadership, engagement, recognition, performance management, collaboration, diversity and inclusion and communication.
- Propose and execute possible solutions to real issues.
- Research best practices for leadership development and implement value-add leader-specific and other talent development programmes.
- Review succession planning and talent mapping processes to better promote internal talent development globally.
- Be the Subject Matter Expert on assigned programmes to act as the advisor and coach to key stakeholders across the organisation.
- Act as the Project Manager for a variety of HR and OD change programmes including: digital automation; talent development; leadership development and organisational design.
Person Specification
The successful candidate will:
- Be an experienced HR and OD professional with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels in the business.
- Have demonstrable experience in researching, proposing and executing a variety of HR and OD programmes.
- Be commercially focused.
- Have expertise in a wide-range of HR topics including leadership development, talent management, succession planning and change management.
- Have excellent Project Management skills.
- Ideally have experience gained within an industrial environment.
- Be able to travel both domestically and internationally.
