HR Assistant (6 month contract)

Our client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic HR Assistant on a fixed term basis for 6 months to support their HR team.

Job Description

The position will involve all aspects of HR administration support and will include the following duties:

  • Assisting the HR department in providing HR administrative support including the upkeep of HR Information Systems and the Time Management System
  • Maintaining the hard filing system and paperwork as well as being responsible for data input and the retrieval of KPI information
  • Assisting the HR Lead with all recruitment activities including gap analysis and liaising with management
  • Managing all recruitment administration in relation to compiling job descriptions; contracts and offers
  • Supporting the set-up of onboarding and induction programmes
  • Preparing training materials and probation reviews for new colleagues
  • Assisting the HR team with disciplinary and grievance matters including note-taking and writing letters
  • Assisting the HR Advisor with absence management matters
  • Partnering with the HR Lead in driving key HR initiatives
  • Helping to drive continuous improvement and supporting with succession planning
  • Daily, weekly and monthly general administration duties

Person Specification

The successful candidate will ideally have proven HR administration skills gained from within a fast-paced and commercial HR department as well general knowledge in supporting all HR competencies.
